The Government is starting to work out a trust for Breeders and Show Organizers. This trust will enroll active members into either or both section.
Breeder's Trust
The Breeder's Trust promotes the quality breeding of stallions and mares through careful evaluation and ranking programs. Stallions and mares are evaluated on their own to their breed standards (similar to how dogs are evaluated in a conformation show). Stallions and mares passing with Premium ranking (the highest) can produce Breeder's Trust Eligible foals. These foals then can compete in classes and shows designated for them. (See the Show Trust below for more information).
A horse is evaluated on many things, including their apperance, manners, breed and gender characteristics, carriage, and movement. A full, detailed evaluation card will be posted later.
Members must pay a fee to enroll. Fee is to be decided.
Show Trust
The Show Trust serves two purposes. First, the Show Trust is to provide funds for awards, payouts, and prizes at shows and races, TO AN EXTENT. The Show Trust does not support races and shows with large sums of money due to the fact that not everyone is into racing, and because the fields are small one person may dominant. However, the Show Trust may provide funds for a small portion of the race purse.
Secondly, the Show Trust establishes approved Breeder's Trust events. In these events, either Government or Member hosted, the foals from Breeder's Trust Premium horses will receive paybacks. Some events may offer payout to foals by lesser quality mares and stallions, based up the Show Trust's approval. The Show Trust may also provide part or all of the money for the sweepstakes classes.
Government Funds
Both programs are ran by Government funds. These include excessive funds from the Mustang herds, registration fees, application fees, taxes, ect.
