I'd like to take a couple of seconds to explain the Crossroads/Bunaidh merge. I started Crossroads under the final Final Turn, and then opened it up to an all breed/disclipline game before I started coding Bunaidh. Now, though, Crossroads is more of a "racing club". So, I'm going to let Bunaidh "absorb" Crossroads as the official Jockey Club (cuz Jade doesn't appear to be around...). This means that the Bunaidh Jockey Club will be holding non-randomized, official racemeets.
You may notice a few new members, which is always great for us. Not only will our racing portion take off (which I'm sure a couple of us will like ) We will also be gaining members with strong interests in Arabians, working western, and sporthorses, so these areas as well will be eventually getting some competition!
What does this mean for the current racehorses?
This sounds slightly selfish, but the incoming horses you'll be seeing get first priority in registration to avoid having my records get screwed up, and then I'll let the current registered horses in. I use a program that is based off of numbers, so you can understand I don't want to renumber every single file (considering there's about 150, I think, currently registered).
Crossroads also has a "stables" that Maya and I ran, so we will be letting those horses go for adoption. All already have races and have been raced to the best of their abilities by us, as well as used as "buffers" to fill. When we get horses in the adoption center, I will "foster" and race these horses until someone adopts them out, along the same lines that the Crossroads Stables was.
Uh... That's it!
