Even though we only have like three members, myself included, I will post this like there's a bunch of members and they're eagerly anticipating the news.
1. I stated in the rules that earnings and points from imported horses can't be carried over, although the rule rambles a bit and makes no sense. I have decided that records (as stated) can be imported with the horse. However, points must be converted to Bunaidh points (see below). I was thinking of allowing a fraction of these points to be brought in, but have decided against this as it would get too confusing. So, points are just as is. If a horse has earned twenty champion of class awards then they get twenty times the amount of points awarded to a champion of class.
2. Creation Credits and Importation Fees are being withheld until I a) code them in, b) code in the Active Member Incentives, c) the staff decides on when to release them. These are only put in place to encourage in game economy.
3. POINTS & TITLES
That fun stuff we all love! Please realize that you do NOT have to keep track of points and titles. Titles are meant to add value to horses when selling, and give them recognition from other horses, ect.
Shows
All classes have to be listed to tenth place, and points are awarded to the top ten horses.
Champion of Show or Division: 65 Points
Reserve Champion of Show or Division: 60 Points
Champion of Class: 50 Points
Reserve Champion of Class: 40 Points
Top Ten: 30 Points
-- Shows are encouraged to hold results realistic to their type/association. A hunter show may have CH/RCH/1st-10th but a reining show will only have 1st-10th. If you are unsure please ask!
1st Place: 50 Points
2nd Place: 45 Points
3rd Place: 40 Points
4th Place: 35 Points
5th Place: 30 Points
6th Place: 25 Points
7th Place: 20 Points
8th Place: 15 Points
9th Place: 10 Points
10th Place: 5 Points
Races
All races have to be listed to fifth place, and points are awarded to the horses that finish on the board (1st - 5th). Races should not award any form of "champion" except in year end awards.
WIN (1st Place): 75 Points
PLACE (2nd Place): 70 Points
SHOW (3rd Place): 65 Points
4th Place: 60 Points
5th Place: 55 Points
Titles
Titles are still being finalized, but here is a general idea of what to expect!
* Member nominated & voted
Inherited Points
The sire and dam contribute a TOTAL of 10% of their points to the foal. So, if Harry has 4,000 points and Ginny has 2,750, the TOTAL would be 6,750 points. The foal, Padfoot, will be born with 675 points (6,750 x .10)
